"Andy Warhol: Icon Icon Icon", the exhibition dedicated to the king of Pop Art held at Deodato Arte Brussels gallery, makes its appearance on Le News 24 (LN24), a Belgian national television station.
Davide Musco, a team member of the gallery and the curator of the exhibition, was a guest on "Les Visiteurs du Soir", a television programme hosted by Jim Nejman. In a conversation with Brice Le Blévennec, author, it was possible to explore the main features and the specific characteristics of the exhibition that displayed some of Warhol's most significant series.
Andy Warhol succeeded in revolutionizing the art world by bringing into it consumer objects well known to the American public like the Campbell's Soup, or mass-media icons such as Elvis and Marilyn Monroe. The exhibition explores the artist's life and best-known series, but also includes some rare and lesser-known collections such as the Ladies and Gentlemen, which portrays some drag queens of New York clubs in the 1970s.
The complete interview can be seen on the LN24 website, in French, by clicking here.
