During the evening, 958 Santero will present its Extra Dry collection, the iconic product that has captivated sparkling wine lovers around the world, created in a limited edition with the vibrant and colorful art of Romero Britto. The famous pop artist transformed the bottles into real works of art.
You will have the opportunity to taste 958 Santero's exclusive bubbles in an extraordinary setting and discover the synergy between 958 Santero's effervescence and Romero Britto's art.
ROMERO BRITTO: WORKS FOR A NEW POP ART
The artist's universe is shaped by the juxtaposition of strong colors, devoid of hues, which place everything in the foreground giving life to two-dimensional icons highlighted by strong black outlines.
A reference to Pop Art and artists such as Andy Warhol and Keith Haring is evident in these figures, all combined with the sunny and positive spirit of Brazil, his country of origin. On the other hand, the debt to Pablo Picasso's Cubism emerges strongly in the use of shapes, freely broken down and reinterpreted by Romero Britto.
The subjects are extremely varied: stylized portraits with a strong pop feel, tenderly embracing human figures, playful animal disguises, and a noisy reiteration of decorative motifs.
