THE ARTWORK
This sculpture by Chirtsak Phaijitsattaya represents a reversed ice-cream with double chocolate flavour that, pouring towards the ground, creates the support on which the work is supported. The work, thanks to its particular shape and bright colours, accentuated by the sheen of the material, conveys joy and fun.
Limited edition in 99 works worldwide. Each work is signed and numbered in original by the artist and it is provided with the certificate of authenticity.

Known as iClim, Chirtsak Phaijitsattaya was born in 1957 in Thailand, where he began his passion for art as a child. Unfortunately, this passion for art was not immediately developed and he had to wait until his early twenties before exhibiting his first work of art.
Arriving in Bangkok in 1976, he undertook his studies in law. During his studies, Chirtsak was invited by a friend to exhibit a sculpture made of papier-mache as a joke. From that moment on, Chirtsak rediscovered his passion for art and discovered his talent for sculpture.
His skill and determination led him to become a professor of sculpture at Wangklaikangwon Industrial and Community College in 2001. At the same time, he became a teacher of papier-mache at Klai Kungwon Palace and received a medal from King Bhumiphol.
In 2010, he returned to work in Bangkok and the following year joined PAJ'Art Studio, where he works alongside artist Arnaud Nazare-Aga. For more than ten years, iClim has been working in the art studio and creating painted resin sculptures; he is also the head sculptor and supervisor of numerous art projects.
iClim's projects include both personal projects and important collaborations with Arnaud.
Different colours, sizes and flavours, iClim's iconic Ice Creams are sculptures made of resin, fibreglass, marble powder and wood. The ice creams that Chirtsak represents are mostly arranged downwards while the flavour that envelops the sculpture seems to melt, creating the support on which the sculpture stands.
The Ice Cream sculptures by iClim, thanks to the bright, vivid colours and the particular shape of the subject depicted, are appreciated all over the world.
