A unique piece by Mr. Brainwash, Not Guilty was created using mixed media on paper and measures 96x127 cm. 

In the centre of the composition is the stenciled figure of a policeman, bent over a child who smiles tenderly after having stained the man's trousers with blue prints. The two stand out against the two-dimensional background. These are recurrent subjects in the works by Mr. Brainwash, artist with a pop attitude who combines stencils, collage, dripping and spray painting. 

Through the inclusion of details reminiscent of the great masters of pop world, Mr. Brainwash original art work is enriched in the background with curious references to the inspirational motifs of the artist. The dialectic between the bright colours and the subjects of the painting, rendered in black and white, appears like an unstoppable flow of positive energy, which spreads to every detail.

2008 - First Exhibition of Mr Brainwash: Life is Beautiful

In 2008 Thierry Guetta decided to start creating his own art. To make Mr Brainwash art known, the artist organized an Exhibition.

His first exhibition took place in Los Angeles, on Hollywood's Walk of Fame Sunset Boulevard, inside a space of around 15,000 square-foot.

The name of the show that started on the 18th of June 2008, was Life is Beautiful and it was a big success.
