The work “Lasciando Esmeralda” by Mr. Savethewall ironically and thoughtfully combines the language of street art with the fascination of the painting tradition. Made in silkscreen, it is a limited edition (20 signed copies) measuring 40x60 cm, and highlights the artist's typical attention to detail and technical quality.

In this composition, an iconic and surreal element, a stylized character with cartoonish strokes and vivid colors, fits into a classical pictorial landscape that recalls the atmosphere of nineteenth-century seaports. The background, with sailboats and a stormy sky, evokes a sense of transience and departure. The figure in the foreground, dressed in retro clothing and looking deliberately out of context, represents the symbol of otherness and irony typical of Mr. Savethewall. The character's presence seems to interrupt the realism of the historical scene, offering food for thought on the contrast between past and contemporary.

From November 21, 2024 to May 4, 2025, the Museo degli Innocenti in Florence will host the extraordinary exhibition Impressionisti in Normandia, dedicated to the great masters of Impressionism and their connection to the landscapes of Normandy.

For the occasion, Mr. Savethewall presents an exclusive collection of four limited edition silkscreens (20 each). The works reimagine Impressionist masterpieces through his iconic frog and contemporary themes, combining tradition and provocation in a pop key. A perfect marriage of classicism and modernity.

The exclusive silkscreens will be available inside the exhibition's Moebius bookshop until May 5, 2025. An unmissable opportunity for collectors and fans of contemporary art and Impressionism!

The artwork will be packed with rigid supports that will protect it from potential damage during transportation. It does not require a wooden box and delivery to EU countries takes 2-5 business days.

If you live in Europe (CEE) the price we show you already includes taxes. The works are taxed either with VAT exposed (22%) or VAT with the margin, if you are a private person you do not change anything, if you are a company: in In the first case, you will recover the VAT, in the second, no. When you put the works in the cart you will be separated from the vat exposed.

If you DON'T LIVE IN EU and you want an EXTRA EU shipping

Many works (not all) have an exposed VAT of 22% included in the price, this vat will be spun off! Obviously you will pay the VAT to your destination country, if due. For example if you live in Switzerland you save 22% but you will have to pay 8.1% to your customs, if you live in Hong Kong you will save 22% and you will not have to pay anything to your customs (lucky you).

If you complete the purchase on the site you can use a credit card, or you can make a bank transfer. Payment in cash is accepted up to 5,000 euros physically in one of our stores. Payments in BitCoin or cryptocurrencies are NOT accepted.
