Don't miss the opportunity to admire the top-rated contemporary artists inside the St. Moritz Deodato Arte Contemporary Art Gallery such as Andy Warhol, Damien Hirst and David Kracov but also the artists who shaped the history of 20th-century art such as Georges Braque and Salvador Dali.
King of Pop Art and one of the most influential artists of the 20th century, Andy Warhol was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1928. The favorite subjects of his art are iconic objects of American consumerism, media icons, and portraits of stars. These include the iconic Campbell's Soup can, Brillo Boxes and portraits of Marilyn Monroe.
In addition to exerting an enormous influence on today's art world, Warhol was a mentor to artists such as Jean-Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring.
An important and eccentric figure in art history, Salvador Dalì is considered the main exponent of the Surrealism current. Love, dreams, madness and the liberation of the individual are the main themes of his works in which the unconscious dominates without falling into clichés.
Influenced by Pablo Picasso and Joan Miró, Salvador Dalì uses both classical and modern techniques, always seeking innovation.
Eclectic and versatile, David Kracov is prized for colorful, energetic and joyful sculptures full of messages of hope and a symbol of positivity. Among the artist's most famous works are the sculptures Book of Life and My Heart Is All a Flutter.
His sculptures are hugely successful in the collections of numerous Hollywood stars such as Steven Spielberg, Kirk Douglas, Matt Damon, and Whoopi Goldberg.
